adventures of a belly dancing acupuncturist

This started as a travelogue to Turkey in the fall '05 so that I wouldn't have to send multiple emails and postcards. I'm still adding anecdotes as I remember them, but it's morphing into a "rant to the ether" spot. Stay, or go. This is my bit of space to do with what I wish.

left hand typing

I missed all of the Kos in Colorado festivities as I managed to trip, fall and crunch up part of my right pinky finger early Wednesday afternoon. Fun. I hope to be a testament to the powers of homeopathics and topical Chinese linaments and find out that I am healing so well on Tuesday that the hand specialist will not need to put a couple of pins in the bone. It will be worth wearing this unwieldy cast, way bigger than the injury would seem to need, for 6 days.

This typing with one hand thing is frighteningly laborious.

Glad to see the Ken Gordon love being spread 'round the blogosphere. In '08 he will be the go to guy on ethics in elections nation wide - and he will be one of those dems who will find the '08 convention (likely being held within blocks of his home and work) an unexpected launching pad into statesmanhood.

Look for me, pre cast, on a channel 9 news feature about wellness services one can order in at the Teatro Hotel sometime during sweeps. Or if you're going to stop by the 9 News Health Fair Tuesday at the Webb building before work, visit me at the Acupuncture Association of Colorado's information table.

And buy the new Norfolk & Western CD, The Guilded Age, because it's wonderful and 8 years after I last saw her, Rachel still amazes me with her breadth of talent.
